MYOB Basics Course

Bookkeeping using the MYOB computerised accounts system will introduce you to all the basics of MYOB. Our MYOB course will help you learn to create and maintain company files and records. The first class consists of an overview of the bookkeeping processes.

Students will be instructed on how to download, install MYOB ARL and also open the Sample File.
Students will also be shown MYOB Essentials (Online Only Version).

Prerequisites
Completion of the Nuts & Bolts of Bookkeeping course or a good knowledge of bookkeeping.

• Debits and credits
• Cash and accrual system
• Navigating MYOB Software
• Tax Codes and Chart of Accounts
• Entering suppliers and customers
• Process sales and purchases
• Receive payments
• Pay bills
• Bank and Ledger Reconciliations
• Payroll overview
• Overview of MYOB online
Number of hours: 2.5 hours per week x 8 weeks
Possible pathway to Cert IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping and employment

How to Enrol

You can enrol online or at our Centre.

Make payment in full on enrolment either by cash, credit card or EFTPOS. In some circumstances, it is possible to arrange a payment plan. Conditions apply.

To finalise your enrolment, you will be asked to present your Medicare card at reception for us to sight and photocopy. This is for proof of Australian residence purposes. Concession card holders will also need to present their concession card.
