This course is run by our Xero certified tutor covering the full use of the Xero cloud accounting program.
Students will develop the skills necessary to navigate and utilise the various features of Xero. Participants will learn how to set up a business, create invoices in Sales and Purchases, Bank Reconciliations, Payroll and how to complete a Business Activity Statement.

Students enrolling in this course will need previous experience in an accounting/bookkeeping role or completion of the Nuts & Bolts of Bookkeeping course.
Course content is:
• Introduction to online learning
• Accessing the help Centre to solve queries
• Understanding users and their permissions
• Adding, deleting, and archiving accounts in the chart of accounts
• Create, edit, and void invoices
• Sending invoices
• Processing payments, receipts and a bank reconciliation.
• Create a bill and apply payments
• Print most common reports
• Prepare Business Activity Statement
• Payroll
o Setup employees and create and process a pay run
o Managing and entering timesheets
o Managing and adding leave applications
XERO is used in many small businesses and the course helps those in small business do their own books or widens employment skills
Learn the fundamentals of XERO to develop skills for self employment, employment or study accredited bookkeeping

To finalise your enrolment, you will be asked to present your Medicare card at reception for us to sight and photocopy. This is for proof of Australian residence purposes. Concession card holders will also need to present their concession card.
