CHC22015 Certificate II in Community Services Course

This qualification may be used as a pathway for workforce entry as community service worker who provides the first point of contact and who assists individuals in meeting their immediate needs. The course covers communication, skills required for people who work in health or community services, working with diverse people, workplace health and safety and more.

This is a nationally recognised qualification to become an introductory worker in the community service sector. At this level, work takes place under direct, regular supervision within clearly defined guidelines.

There are no specific academic entry requirements for this course, however applicants must undertake a literacy and numeracy (LL&N) test. These will assist with determining student suitability and relevance into course entry and identification of any support needs.

The ability to obtain a working with Children Check and Police Clearance – Working with Children Check and Police Clearance required for industry workplace. Depending on the employer, you may need to obtain both or one.

*Concession fee applies only to holders of a current Health Care Card, Pensioner Concession Card or Veteran’s Gold Card.

*Basic feee student does not hold a concession card, but is eligible for a Skills First subsided training place.

*Full fee for those not eligible for government funding (non-residents)
